Role Overview


We are seeking a Solution Engineer who thrives at the intersection of technology and customer engagement. This role combines deep technical expertise (programming, RPA, APIs, integrations) with personable communication skills to design and deliver solutions that drive customer success.



In addition to supporting pre-sales and solution design, this role will also contribute to integration development, technical documentation, and creative problem solving for unique customer environments. The ideal candidate is resourceful, personable, and able to think outside the box while helping customers maximize value from AlertOps.





Key Responsibilities

• Partner with sales to deliver engaging demos, technical workshops, and proof-of-concepts.


• Assist with integration development: build and extend API/webhook/RPA-based integrations between AlertOps and customer tools.


• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and solution guides to support sales and customer success teams.


• Collaborate with customers to design creative, enterprise-scale automation workflows that solve real-world challenges.


• Lead technical discovery sessions to uncover requirements, integrations, and automation opportunities.


• Develop and maintain demo environments, reusable scripts, and reference integrations.


• Translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures using REST APIs, JSON, authentication standards, and RPA platforms (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, etc.).


• Act as a trusted advisor, combining technical depth with personable communication to build long-term customer confidence.


• Provide feedback to Product and Engineering on integration gaps, feature requests, and customer-driven innovation.





Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.


• 3+ years in a Solution Engineer, Sales Engineer, or Technical Consultant role for SaaS or enterprise software.


• Strong programming/scripting knowledge (Python, JavaScript, or similar).


• Experience with RPA tools and building automation workflows.


• Familiarity with integration development (APIs, webhooks, authentication methods, enterprise SaaS ecosystems).


• Proven ability to create clear technical documentation and solution guides.


• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; able to connect with technical engineers and non-technical executives.


• Creative problem solver, comfortable in fast-moving environments where solutions are not always obvious.

Hard Skills (Technical Requirements)

• Strong programming/scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, or similar)


• Experience with integration development (REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, OAuth/API keys)


• Familiarity with RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, etc.)


• Knowledge of ITSM, DevOps, NOC/SOC, or incident response workflows


• Ability to design and deliver complex enterprise-scale solutions and automation workflows


• Proficiency with SaaS platforms, enterprise systems, and technical ecosystems (e.g., monitoring, ticketing, collaboration tools)


• Hands-on experience creating and maintaining technical documentation, runbooks, and integration guides


• Ability to develop and maintain demo environments, scripts, and reusable technical assets


• Strong understanding of enterprise security, authentication, and data workflows

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mobile Application Developer at AlertOps. The developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining mobile applications, with a focus on iOS development. Some work from home is acceptable, but the role is primarily located in Chennai.
