Description
As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for leading various presales activities, RFP management, solution estimation, solution architecture, and technology leadership. Your role will involve collaborating with sales and business development teams to understand client requirements, leading client presentations and demonstrations, and acting as a technical advisor during presales discussions. You will take ownership of the end-to-end RFP response process, develop detailed and compelling RFP responses, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with sales and business development teams to understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions. - Lead client presentations, workshops, and demonstrations to showcase the value of proposed solutions. - Act as a technical advisor during presales discussions, addressing client concerns and providing expert guidance. - Take ownership of the end-to-end RFP response process, including requirement analysis, solution design, and proposal writing. - Develop detailed and compelling RFP responses that clearly articulate the proposed solution, its benefits, and its alignment with client needs. - Provide accurate effort, cost, and timeline estimations for proposed solutions. - Work closely with delivery teams to validate estimates and ensure feasibility. - Develop pricing models and commercial proposals that align with client budgets and business objectives. - Compliant to best practices, experience in formally documenting and communicating architecture. - Ability to deal with ambiguity and come up with solutions, assumptions, and estimates with clear logic. - Develop and document architectural patterns, processes, and standards for cloud-native environments. - Define API strategies that align with business objectives and promote best practices in API design and management. - Design microservices architectures that facilitate scalable and resilient application development. - Implement integration solutions using integration products to connect disparate systems seamlessly. - Manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Kubernetes to ensure optimal performance and cost-effectiveness. - Lead the evaluation and selection of technologies, tools, and platforms to ensure the best fit for the organization's needs. - Conduct technical reviews and audits to ensure compliance with architectural standards and best practices. - Mentor and guide junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: - 8+ years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in a solution architecture role, with a proven track record of designing and delivering complex systems. - Strong experience in presales activities, including RFP responses, solution estimation, and client presentations. Technical Skills: - Expertise in API strategy, API architecture, microservices, and cloud-native architecture. - Proficiency in cloud platforms (i.e., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and microservices architecture. - Proficiency in integration technologies (Azure Logic Apps, Azure Service Bus, Functions (lambda)). - Strong knowledge of programming languages (i.e., Java, Python, C#) and frameworks. - Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes). - Familiarity with data architecture, databases, and big data technologies. Soft Skills: - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Leadership and team collaboration abilities.
