Solution Architect- M365

The Job

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary M365 Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and governance of scalable Microsoft 365 solutions. This role involves solution architecture, RFP responses, proposal development, and client presentations. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader with deep expertise in the M365 ecosystem and strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Solution Design & Architecture

• Design end-to-end Microsoft 365 solutions aligned with business goals and IT strategy.
• Develop technical architectures (HLD/LLD) for services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Purview, and Viva.
• Architect hybrid environments integrating on-prem infrastructure with M365.
• Evaluate existing environments and propose optimization strategies.

Technical Leadership & Guidance

• Act as SME for M365 technologies; stay updated on features and roadmaps.
• Provide technical leadership to project teams and mentor junior members.
• Drive adoption of new M365 capabilities and foster continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Engagement & Requirements Analysis

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
• Translate business needs into actionable technical specifications.
• Lead workshops and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Security, Compliance & Governance

• Implement robust security controls aligned with organizational policies and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
• Design governance frameworks including DLP, retention policies, information protection, and access controls.
• Utilize security features like Defender, Information Protection, and Conditional Access.

Project Delivery & Support

• Provide oversight for M365 implementation and migration projects (email, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Develop PoCs and prototypes to validate technical feasibility.
• Contribute to Statements of Work (SOWs) and technical proposals.

Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting

• Monitor and optimize M365 performance for reliability and usability.
• Resolve complex technical issues and automate tasks using PowerShell.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles where applicable.

  : Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID), Hybrid Identity, MFA, Conditional Access, B2B/B2C

• Security & Compliance

  : Microsoft Defender suite, Microsoft Purview, DLP, Information Protection, eDiscovery, Audit

• Device Management

  : Microsoft Intune (MDM/MAM), Windows 10/11

• Power Platform

  : Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents (Power Platform architecture knowledge is highly desirable)

• Employee Experience

  : Microsoft Viva and related tools

• AI Integration

  : Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot and its applications
• Strong grasp of networking, virtualization, and cloud storage concepts
• Proficient in PowerShell for automation and administration
• Familiar with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
