Software Tester

You are being sought after to join as a Software Tester Intern where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and dependability of our applications. Your main responsibilities will include conducting manual testing for both web and mobile applications, as well as pinpointing, documenting, and articulately reporting bugs. You will be tasked with verifying bug fixes and conducting regression testing, in addition to collaborating closely with the development team to guarantee a seamless user experience. Furthermore, you will be required to contribute to the creation of basic test cases, checklists, and test plans, while also making sure that applications adhere to functional and UI/UX standards. Ideally, you should possess a fundamental grasp of software testing principles, with prior exposure to bug tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, or GitHub Issues. A familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) is necessary, along with exceptional attention to detail and analytical capabilities. Effective communication and documentation skills are also crucial for this role. Additionally, it would be advantageous if you have experience with automated testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Postman for API testing. A basic understanding of database queries, particularly in SQL, would be beneficial. An interest in QA processes, automation, or performance testing would be considered a plus for this position.,
