Software Tester

Job Description: As a Software Tester at Prometteur Solutions Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through thorough testing processes. With a minimum of 3 years of experience in Manual Testing, you will design, develop, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases to evaluate product code against specifications. Your role will involve executing functional/regression testing of the entire application and documenting testing phases and defects in logs. Collaboration with development teams is crucial as you report bugs and errors, conduct post-release/post-implementation testing, and work alongside cross-functional teams to maintain quality throughout the software development lifecycle. A strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect Lifecycle is essential, along with the ability to perform various types of testing such as Smoke, Sanity, Integration, and Regression Testing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must for effective communication within the team. Additionally, having basic knowledge of writing SQL queries is preferable for this role. As a Software Tester, you will work as an individual contributor, utilizing your experience in Quality Assurance testing and project management. Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing methodologies will be advantageous in this position.
