Software Test Engineer

Experience:

Mandatory Skills

• Hands on KWP 2000, UDS Diagnostics
• Sound knowledge on LIN and CAN communications
• Develop tests cases manually and CAPL/PHYTHON scripts required to automate the SW validation

plan by using Vector Canoe

• Execute the SW validation tests (using the tests scripts and/or manually) and report the results
• Manage and ensure traceability between Product SW requirements and SW validation tests and

tests scripts (100% coverage required)

• Knowledge on ASpice framework

Tools

• Jira, Doors, Vector Canoe, Vtest Studio, SVN, GIT Hub

Additional Skills

• Sound Knowledge on usage of test equipment like oscilloscope, logic analyzers, power-supply etc.
• DIO and AIO modules interface
• Knowledge on safety standards ISO 26262 would be advantage
• Ability to go through hardware schematic diagrams and interface documents

Responsibilities

• Design & development Test strategy and test Automation for Validation of Automotive systems such

as Door modules, Roof systems, Window regulators, etc.

• Analyzing the requirements and developing test specifications & test scripts
• Execution of tests, analyzing results and reporting bugs
• Validation of ECU using tools such as CANoe, Canalyser and Vehicle Spy
• Coordination skills within team and external parties
• Experience in any Bug Tracking Tool (Jira is Preferred)
• Contribute to developing a validation strategy and test plan to find issues in a fail early, fail often

manner and the reporting mechanism to ensure that issues are tracked and fixed on time.

• Contribute to the building of Test Simulation setup to improve productivity and effectiveness of the

early architecture validation effort.
