Software Test Engineer

As a QA Automation Engineer at the networking startup based in Bangalore/San Francisco, your primary role will be to develop and implement a comprehensive testing strategy and process to enhance product quality. With a minimum of 3 to 6 years of experience, you will focus on increasing automated test coverage, reducing test time, and maintaining consistent quality in a dynamic product environment. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute a comprehensive testing strategy to elevate product quality. - Enhance automated test coverage to ensure consistent and predictable quality standards. - Decrease test time required per sprint and align with product development pace. - Improve customer experience through thorough testing and quality control throughout product development stages. - Run automated test suites, evaluate test outcomes, and identify defects accurately. - Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure testability of requirements. - Offer feedback and support in establishing and managing test environments. - Perform performance testing, analyze results, and pinpoint performance bottlenecks. - Guide and mentor junior QA engineers, sharing insights on automation best practices. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 3 to 6 years of QA automation experience with proficiency in tools like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cypress, Playwright, etc. - Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#, and experience with build management tools like Maven or Gradle. - Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman or Rest-Assured. - Skilled in writing SQL queries and conducting database testing with a focus on data integrity. - Knowledge of SNMP, NMAP, and other networking tools would be advantageous.,
