Software Test Engineer II

You will be joining Trintech as a Software Test Engineer II in Bangalore, India. Trintech empowers Finance and Accounting teams globally with technology that simplifies reconciliation and close processes. As a Software Test Engineer II, you will be responsible for evaluating software solutions to ensure they meet specifications and requirements before release, collaborating with global test engineers to plan and execute testing strategies, and contributing to designing, implementing, and improving testing processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Responsible for end-to-end testing activities. - Develop and execute test plans manually to validate software functionality. - Identify, troubleshoot, report, and track software defects and issues. - Perform functional, performance, automated, and regression testing. - Record and report test results and defects, working on resolutions. - Provide suggestions and feedback to enhance software development quality. - Stay updated with industry trends in software testing methodologies. - Participate actively in planning, analysis, and estimation of backlog requirements. - Work in a close team environment, engage with other departments, and meet tight deadlines. - Troubleshoot database, server OS, and application servers to identify root causes. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of professional experience in Software testing. - Proficiency in Automation Testing using C# and Selenium. - Good understanding of SDLC and STLC. - Hands-on experience in test planning, design, execution, and defect management. - Knowledge of tools like Azure DevOps/VSTS and SQL Server Database. - Experience in test automation (preferably Selenium) and performance testing (LoadNinja). - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment within Agile/Scrum methodology. - Previous experience with Reconciliation and/or month-end close applications preferred.
