Software Test Engineer

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Software Test Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software applications through manual and automated testing. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and report defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.

*Key Responsibilities:*

1. *Automation Testing:*
- Develop automated test scripts using Selenium with Java and Python.- Implement automated testing frameworks and tools.- Maintain and enhance existing automation test suites.2. *API Testing:*- Design and execute API tests using Postman.- Validate API responses and ensure they meet requirements.3. *Manual Testing:*- Perform thorough manual testing of software applications.- Identify and report defects, including steps to reproduce and expected results.4. *Agile Methodology:*- Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).- Collaborate with development teams to ensure testing aligns with sprint goals.5. *Test Management:*- Use test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) to track and manage test cases, test runs, and defects.- Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans and test cases.6. *Bug Reporting and Tracking:*- Report and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).- Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and verify fixes.

*Required Skills:*

1. 1-2 years of experience in software testing.
2. Strong knowledge of automation testing using Selenium with Java and Python.3. Experience with API testing using Postman.4. Manual testing skills, with attention to detail and ability to identify defects.5. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Scrum framework.6. Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

*Nice to Have:*

1. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins).
2. Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., AWS Device Farm).3. Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker).
