Role Overview: As a member of the Enterprise Routing team at Cisco, you will be working on next-gen routing Platforms (Core Routing and SDWAN) to provide solutions for Enterprise/SP and Fortune 500 customers. The team consists of high-energy, quality-focused engineers who tackle tough engineering challenges with diverse perspectives and experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and automate test cases for platforms and software in the Enterprise routing market - Possess a good understanding of different VPN technologies, Post-Quantum Cryptography, MACSec, IPSEC/GRE, SD-WAN Security, Certificate Management, ZBFW, IPS/IDS, TLS, SSL Proxy, Layer2/Layer3 protocols - Strong Python scripting knowledge for test automation - Collaborate effectively with a geographically diverse team - Write test plans, design test cases, implement them, and automate end-to-end testing at scale - Conduct System Integration Testing, negative tests, stress tests, and test feature combinations Qualifications Required: - BSEE/MSEE/CS with 9 to 13 years of software testing experience - CCNA, CCNP, or other Cisco certifications are a plus - Hands-on experience with IPSEC/GRE, different VPN technologies, cryptography, and Certificate management - Proficiency in scripting, particularly in Python, and Rest API Automation - Experience with test tools like traffic analyzers, traffic generation tools, and open-source tools for negative testing - Ability to handle System test profiles with different feature combinations and scale - Understanding of SD-WAN Security, Post-Quantum Cryptography, MACSec, ZBFW, IPS/IDS, TLS, SSL Proxy, and Layer2/Layer3 protocols - Setting up test labs and configurations - Solid understanding of software quality and processes Additional Company Details: Cisco is at the forefront of revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era and beyond.
