Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Test Engineer with a strong background in Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) processes. The ideal candidate will possess hands on experience in database testing, API testing, and log verification using PuTTY. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of the testing process, defect management, and the ability to prepare test plans and execute testing strategies effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
• Perform database testing to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Conduct API testing to validate functionality, performance, and security.
• Utilize PuTTY to access and verify logs for troubleshooting and analysis.
• Manage defect tracking and resolution processes, ensuring timely communication with development teams.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to testing processes and results.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior testing team members.

Mandatory Skills

• Proficient in Java programming.
• Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) processes.
