Job Description

About the Role:

Software Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain tools and automation to improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.
Monitor system health and troubleshoot production issues, minimizing downtime and impact.
Collaborate with software engineers to implement best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment.
Develop and maintain SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets to measure and improve service reliability.
Participate in incident response and post-mortem analysis to identify root causes and preventive actions.
Automate repetitive tasks such as deployments, scaling, and monitoring.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless software delivery.
Analyze system metrics and logs to proactively detect and address potential issues.
Implement disaster recovery and backup strategies.
Advocate for reliability engineering principles across the organization.

Preferred Skills:

Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar.
Experience with chaos engineering and resilience testing.
Knowledge of security best practices in infrastructure and operations.
Experience in microservices architecture.
Familiarity with database performance tuning and optimization.
