Software Quality Automation Engineer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for integrating, validating, and debugging software across the stack for a specific product, platform, feature, or technology. You will design and develop a software validation environment, integrate the software stack, and create validation plans and automation. Additionally, you will analyze results, triage failures, and recommend corrective actions to improve quality, automation, and product release efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop a software validation environment - Create validation plans and automation - Write validation standards and procedures - Analyze results to ensure correct functionality - Triage failures and recommend corrective actions - Employ new methods to improve quality and automation Qualifications Required: Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent degree - 5+ years of experience in test software development, test execution, and writing test plans/cases - 5+ years of experience in Python, C/C++, or any test-oriented language - Experience in building and enhancing automated test frameworks - Good understanding of computer networks and system software Preferred Qualifications: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Experience in SW/FW validation - Strong working knowledge of security standards and their applications - Follow software development best practices - Solid verbal and written communication skills Note: The Client Computing Group (CCG) at Intel is responsible for driving business strategy and product development for PC products and platforms.
