Software / Product Support

Job Summary

We are looking for computer-literate and communication-oriented individuals to join our team as Software / Product Support Professionals. Candidates will provide onsite support at various check-posts/integrated checkpoints, assist with software usage, data entry, and basic hardware troubleshooting. All product training will be provided by our business team.

This role involves being the first point of contact for technical issues at site — supporting stakeholders, ensuring smooth software operation, and facilitating process adherence as defined by the project scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support at assigned locations for software applications provided by our company — assist users/stakeholders in usage and issue resolution.
• Perform data entry or data updating tasks as required. (Since part of the role includes data entry).
• Provide basic troubleshooting for computer hardware (desktops/laptops/peripherals) — diagnose and address issues such as hardware malfunction, peripherals (keyboard, mouse, printer, etc.) problems.
• Install, configure, or assist in installation/configuration of hardware/software (if required).
• Ensure timely resolution of support requests, maintain logs / records of support tickets or issues.
• Collaborate with business team and other stakeholders to coordinate support processes as per project scope. (As per your project requirements.)
• Escalate complex issues / hardware failures beyond basic troubleshooting to higher-level support / engineering / vendor teams as needed.

Requirements / Candidate Profile

• Computer-literate: comfortable using Windows or standard office software — able to learn new software applications.
• Basic understanding of computers — hardware (desktop/laptop), peripherals (keyboard, mouse, printers), and ability to do basic troubleshooting.
• Good communication skills — able to interact with users / stakeholders politely and clearly (verbal and possibly written).
• Basic data entry skills — accurate keyboard typing, attention to detail.
• Willingness to work onsite at specified location (remote locations / border posts / checkpoints).
• Ability to work independently (self-starter) and as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability, given the remote / diverse site locations — possibly non-standard environment.

Preferred (but not mandatory / can be trained):

• Basic knowledge of operating systems, hardware configuration, peripheral setup and troubleshooting.
• Basic familiarity with logging/reporting support issues (though training will be provided).

Experience: 0–2 years (freshers / entry-level) — training will be provided for product/software support.

Education: At least intermediate with computer literacy; a degree/diploma in computer science / IT / similar is a plus but not strictly necessary if the candidate has basic skills and aptitude.
