Job Description

You are a highly talented Software Support Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in Technical Support or a similar Tier 3 position. Your role involves providing software support for products installed at customer sites worldwide, collaborating with global support functions, R&D, hardware, and application teams to ensure the products function as designed. This is an excellent opportunity to work with leaders in the semiconductor industry and contribute to cutting-edge technology advancements that require a strong knowledge of software and computing. Your responsibilities include: - Providing functional support for software issues, containing field escalations, developing debugging dashboards, supporting installations and software upgrades, troubleshooting site issues, and working with local teams. - Involvement in software development, such as participating in new feature reviews, verifying features from an end-user perspective, developing utilities for deployment, ensuring system performance in the field, and collaborating with development and QA teams. - Maintaining systems by creating, managing, and monitoring in-house servers. - Focusing on ease of deployment by creating solutions and strategies for software deployment and management. - Monitoring the reliability, performance, and availability of software systems. - Automating tasks to improve server efficiency and software deployment. - Troubleshooting complex customer issues independently by analyzing product and system/computing problems, working with customers to troubleshoot and improve user experience. Skills and qualifications required for this role include: - Proven experience in understanding large-scale systems and operations. - Familiarity with production monitoring systems and software development/automation infrastructure. - Attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders. - Proficiency in coding with Java, Python, or scripting languages. - Technical writing skills and staying updated with industry trends. - Embracing values such as humility, humanity, and integrity to foster innovation, diversity, and inclusivity.
