Software Integrator (SW Integration Engineer)

The Software Integration Engineer will integrate AUTOSAR and non-AUTOSAR software components, ensuring seamless interoperability across embedded automotive platforms. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to architect, integrate, and optimize solutions for next-generation automotive systems.

Responsibilities

Integrate AUTOSAR Classic stack with ASW and BSW modules across microcontroller families.

Configure RTE and validate software component interfaces.

Monitor software resource consumption (CPU load, RAM/ROM usage, stack, response times).

Work with Embedded C, AUTOSAR OS, RTOS environments.

Handle microcontrollers (Infineon) and peripherals (CAN, LIN, ADC, PWM).

Manage builds using make files, compilers, linkers, and integration tools.

Use configuration management tools (Git, IMS, Jira).

Validate integration via CANoe, debuggers, and communication protocols.

Resolve multicore scheduling issues (race conditions, memory conflicts).

Apply architectural tools (Enterprise Architect, System Composer, UML).

Analyze static/dynamic architecture for timing and traceability.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, or Computer Science.

5+ years of experience (minimum 2 years in automotive software integration).

Strong knowledge of V-cycle development and ASPICE workflows.

Familiarity with MISRA guidelines and static code analysis.

Expertise in RTOS and AUTOSAR technologies (Classic Platform, OSYM, MCAL).

Experience in real-time embedded software architectures, multicore systems.

Strong debugging skills for complex memory and build issues.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Knowledge of task scheduling, timing protection, and multicore optimization strategies.
