About the Role:

Join S&P Global Mobility as a Java Full Stack Developer and be part of a team that powers innovation in the automotive industry. Youll contribute to the development and maintenance of high-performance applications that support the Polk Automotive Solutions (PAS) Portfolio, using modern cloud and web technologies.

What Youll Be Doing (Responsibilities):

• Design, build, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Core Java for the backend and React/Angular for the frontend.
• Leverage AWS services for deploying cloud-native applications.
• Implement features and enhancements across all layers of the application stack.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and follow best practices in clean code, security, and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across front-end and back-end systems.
• Improve and support the SDLC and CI/CD practices through automation and continuous integration.
• Document technical solutions and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

What Were Looking For (Qualifications):

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful services.
• Proficiency in AWS services (Lambda, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, etc.) and deployment strategies.
• Solid frontend development experience with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and frameworks like React or Angular.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar.
• Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.

Preferred:

• Exposure to DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes) and containerized environments.
• Working knowledge of microservices architecture and API-first design.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and vulnerability remediation (e.g., OWASP principles).
