Software Engineering Manager (Data Engg & ML)

As a Software Engineering Manager at Autodesk, you will lead a team of skilled engineers within the Analytics Data Group to develop and maintain a cutting-edge machine learning platform. You will be expected to manage project timelines, allocate resources effectively, and foster a culture of innovation, agility, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team. Additionally, active participation in the hiring process to attract top-tier engineering talent will be crucial to ensure the team possesses the necessary skills to execute on the AI/ML platform vision. The ideal candidate for this role should have a BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 12 years of software engineering experience, including 3 years in a management role. Strong leadership skills, experience in AI/ML technologies, cloud services, agile methodologies, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this position. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, experience in building AI/ML platforms, and understanding of MLOps principles for effectively managing and automating machine learning workflows.
