As an engineer in the Quality Engineering team, you will design, build , manage and leverage the state-of-the-art testing toolkit in DataStax.
What you will do:
? Build frameworks to support advanced testing techniques for distributed databases.
? Contribute to the automation frameworks that support intricate performance tests.
? Participate in peer code reviews and elevate the adherence of best practices.
? Participate in agile planning meetings and adapt to changing needs to ensure the quality of the team deliverables.
? Work closely with various product development teams to understand the test requirements and add support to the testing toolkit.
? Design and develop frameworks and robust automation test scripts at both Unit and integration level.
? 4-6 years of relevant experience
? Design test execution strategy and develop test automation frameworks.
? Hands on in writing clean code quickly in languages like Java, Python, Go.
? Understand the complexities of testing distributed systems with a strong emphasis on performance tuning.
? Comfortable with software development and scripting in a Linux based environment.
? Experience with any NoSQL database technology.
? Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
? Experience with Jenkins Pipelines -Groovy.
