Software Engineer - Python

You will be joining Zenarate as a Software Engineer with a focus on application support, improvement, and customization. Your main responsibility will be developing functionality and features in a specialty system, emphasizing performance, reliability, and maintainability. This role will require you to work in a fast-paced environment within a growing business, collaborating within a team of Enterprise & customizations and supporting all phases of the business. A comprehensive understanding of application development components and infrastructure is essential for this role. To be successful in this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 2-4 years of hands-on experience in Python. You will be developing microservices using Python and should be an expert in Python, with at least 2+ years of knowledge in at least one Python web framework such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django. Additionally, you should have in-depth knowledge of RESTful & GraphQL API design and implementation, familiarity with ORM libraries like SQLAlchemy, and expertise in user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments. Proficiency in SQL databases, Source Configuration Management tools like Git or Gitlab, and the development of high-performance and fault-tolerant systems is required. Knowledge of distributed systems programming and excellent troubleshooting skills are also essential. It would be beneficial if you have expertise with NoSQL databases, familiarity with AWS Cloud Services like Lambda, Athena, and Glue, in-depth knowledge of Linux environments and Web Servers (Nginx, Apache, etc.), and experience in message-driven architectures. Good project management skills are a plus. Preferred qualifications include proven experience in leading individual projects or subprojects, familiarity with iterative and agile development methodologies, experience collaborating within a global delivery team, and the ability to engage effectively with business users across all levels.
