Software Engineer - Python + API + AWS

As a Senior Software Engineer at CGI, you will play a crucial role in API development using Python and AWS. Your responsibilities will include: - Over 5 years of experience in API development with Python and AWS, including familiarity with FastAPI. - Knowledge and experience with React.js for frontend development is a plus. - Proficiency in containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/ECS). - Hands-on experience with various AWS services such as API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS (PostgreSQL), Elasticache, SQS, SNS, and Lambda. - Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) through the use of Terraform. - Good experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB/MongoDB Atlas. - Understanding of event-driven and microservices architecture. - Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. - Demonstrated problem-solving and debugging skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective engagement with team members and stakeholders. - Experience working with Agile methodologies. To be successful in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of experience and at least 3 years of relevant experience. - Educational background in BTech, MTech, or BSC. - Immediate to 30 days serving notice period. - Location preference in Hyderabad, Bangalore, or Chennai.
