Software Engineer- L2/L3 Datacom/ Datapath

As a Software Developer for the next generation of Switches, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance forwarding/networking software. Your key responsibilities will include: - Working with customer-facing teams to understand requirements and translating them into software design - Developing complex packet forward features in areas such as IPv4/IPv6/MPLS, EVPN-VxLAN, Multicast, Firewall/Filter, Cos, DHCP, and Services - Analyzing, debugging, and fixing complex microkernel/Linux issues - Driving innovations by collaborating with cross-functional teams to address complex problems - Assisting in solving complex customer issues and driving customer satisfaction - Working on sustaining existing features To qualify for this position, you must have: - A minimum of B.E or BTech from a reputed institution in CS/EE with 2-8+ years of experience - Excellent C/C++/Python programming, design, problem-solving, and debugging skills - Strong Networking background - Prior experience with software development on routers and switches - Prior experience with datapath ASICs like Broadcom, Mellanox, Innovium, Barefoot, or any other NPU - Experience in multi-core Software architectures - A clear understanding of the product development cycle, technical requirements, computer architecture, data structures, and programming practices - A strong record of delivering software projects on-time and with high quality - Good oral and written communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work in a team environment This role is located in Bangalore.,
