**Job Description:** As a member of the software engineering team at Cisco, you will be involved in developing tools and integrations for a portfolio of cloud infrastructure services. Your role will include working on enterprise-level software development within a multifaceted and agile team. Collaborating with team members, you will enhance the functionality, reliability, availability, and manageability of applications and cloud platforms using a DevOps model. Furthermore, you will be responsible for designing and developing microservices and APIs in a cloud-native model, ensuring quality, performance, robustness, and scalability. **Key Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with core services team members to define roadmaps, write clear user stories, design, and build solutions - Develop software to enhance the functionality, reliability, availability, and manageability of applications and cloud platforms - Integrate partner offerings into the overall Kubernetes platform - Design and develop microservices and APIs in a cloud-native model - Ensure quality, performance, robustness, and scalability of services - Automate development, testing, and deployment processes through CI/CD pipelines - Champion and drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices **Qualifications Required:** - 10+ years of hands-on software development experience focusing on continuous delivery, enterprise application development, and cloud automation - Technical leadership experience managing the OpenShift container platform and Google Anthos platform - Proficiency in Go (preferred) & Python programming languages - Experience with EKS & GKE, GitOps, Terraform, Ansible Automation - Strong knowledge of building cloud-based applications using microservices and deploying in containerized environments - Excellent understanding of software design patterns, SDLC, TDD, CI/CD - Bachelors degree in CS/CE/EE, User Experience, Information Science, Product or Digital Design, or equivalent (Note: Additional company details are omitted in the final JD as per the request),
