Role Overview:Lead technical design and architecture decisions, providing mentorship to junior team members. Independently drive small to medium-sized projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes. Collaborate proactively with Product Management to validate solution feasibility and estimate high-level effort.Key ResponsibilitiesActively contribute hands-on to software development using JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL, and REST APIsOwn the troubleshooting, debugging, and resolution of complex production and development issuesPartner closely with QA engineers to ensure comprehensive product testing and validationCommunicate regularly with stakeholders, providing clear status updates and risk assessmentsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) plus 5-9 years’ relevant software development experienceAdvanced proficiency and extensive hands-on experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQLExtensive experience designing, building, and maintaining REST APIs at scalePreferred QualificationsDemonstrated experience with AWS cloud infrastructure, including SQS, Lambda, RedisExperience building, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, specifically with GitHub ActionsExperience triaging and helping resolve production issuesStrong foundation in computer science fundamentals (OOP, data structures, algorithms)Behavioral CompetenciesEnsures AccountabilityManages ComplexityCommunicates EffectivelyBalances StakeholdersCollaborates EffectivelyPDI is committed to offering a well-rounded benefits program, designed to support and care for you, and your family throughout your life and career.  This includes a competitive salary, market-competitive benefits, and a quarterly perks program.
