Software Engineer II

As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within Corporate Technology, you will be an integral part of an agile team, contributing to designing and delivering innovative technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Key Responsibilities: - Execute software solutions by actively participating in design, development, and technical troubleshooting to address technical challenges. - Write secure and high-quality code utilizing at least one programming language. - Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot with a focus on system implications. - Utilize tools within the Software Development Life Cycle to enhance automation value. - Analyze large and diverse data sets to support secure and stable application development. - Learn and apply system processes and methodologies to develop secure and stable code and systems effectively. Qualifications Required: - Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with a minimum of 2 years of applied experience. - Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability. - Proficiency in coding in one or more languages. - Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages. - Comprehensive understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle. - Solid grasp of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security. - Experience in designing and implementing software solutions utilizing Big Data, event-driven architecture, and AWS technologies. In addition to the key responsibilities and qualifications mentioned above, JPMorgan Chase values hands-on experience with Java, Spark, AWS, and Kafka. Exposure to Databricks, familiarity with modern front-end technologies, and knowledge of cloud technologies are also considered advantageous for this role.,
