Software Engineer II - Android Developer

As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking Team, you will be part of an agile team focusing on enhancing, designing, and delivering software components for state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your role involves executing software solutions, designing, developing, and troubleshooting technical components within various products, applications, or systems. You are expected to write secure, high-quality code using programming languages, apply knowledge of tools in the Software Development Life Cycle, and contribute to technical troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities: - Execute standard software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting - Write secure and high-quality code using at least one programming language - Design, develop, code, and troubleshoot with consideration of upstream and downstream systems - Apply technical troubleshooting to solve problems of basic complexity - Gather, analyze, and draw conclusions from data sets to contribute to decision-making - Learn and apply system processes, methodologies, and skills for secure, stable code and systems - Contribute to a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect Qualifications Required: - Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 2+ years of experience - Proficiency in mobile development frameworks like Android and Kotlin - Experience in developing mobile applications using Android libraries such as Jetpack Compose and Kotlin Coroutines - Ability to optimize applications for various screen sizes and Android devices - Experience in working on large and complex mobile apps with Unit and automated testing - Knowledge of Mobile Native Application and Mobile Hybrid Testing in Android and iOS platform - Strong interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills In addition to the above qualifications, familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies are preferred for this role.,
