The PositionWe are seeking a seasoned engineer with a passion for changing the way millions of people save energy. The primary focus of this role will be to support the EV Account Management and Operations Teams. Responsible for triaging and responding to client tickets revolving around Program Enrollment, Data Collection, and analyzing reports collected through Uplight’s EV Data Aggregation Program. The Associate will work closely with various stakeholders, including the utility client and the Uplight Engineering and Account Management Teams. The role requires analytical skills, proficiency in data management and visualization, and an understanding of the EV industry and associated metrics.

- Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently; self-motivated.
- Ability to communicate effectively to clients on a regular basis through all methods of communication.
- Data Analysis and Management:
- Analyze, organize, and manage collected data related to EV charging; including offline/online devices, charging sessions, and customer behavior.
- Collaborate with internal teams and utility partners to ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy.
- Develop reports, and visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders, and aid in the development of integral, client-facing, program tools and dashboards.
- Perform statistical analysis and modeling of EV charging data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Critical Thinking
- Work with internal Teams & partners to find solutions for issues that arise through the analytics of data.
- Help refine client ticket resolution processes.
- Support the development of strategies for expanding and optimizing EV programs/products based on data-driven insights.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Engineering).
- 0 to 1 year of experience in data analyst / analyst roles.
- Strong analytical skills, with a focus on quantitative data analysis.
- Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools (e.g. SQL, excel)
- Familiarity with utility operations, grid management, and energy industry trends.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
