Software Engineer, Frontend

As a Frontend Engineer at DoorDash, you will be part of the Engineering team in India, contributing to the success of the company by building data tools for internal and external consumers. Your responsibilities will include: - Becoming a product owner for one of our client facing applications. - Writing robust, highly tested, well-crafted code to ensure the best customer experience. - Working on designing and building beautiful, intuitive user interfaces for web applications. - Collaborating with technical and business teams to build features that prioritize user satisfaction. - Architecting large-scale frontend applications and implementing backend APIs. - Ensuring cross-browser compatibility, progressive enhancement, responsive design, and website performance. - Utilizing your mastery of vanilla JS, HTML5, CSS3, React/Redux, or similar frameworks. - Demonstrating an understanding of REST principles and experience with documentation, unit, and integration testing. We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications: - B.S., M.S. or PhD in a relevant field. - 2+ years of industry experience. - Solid understanding of frontend technologies and best practices. - Experience in architecting large-scale frontend applications. - Proficiency in vanilla JS, HTML5, CSS3, React/Redux, or similar frameworks. - Knowledge of REST principles and working with backend APIs. - Experience with documentation, unit, and integration testing.
