As an Associate Software Engineer/ Software Engineer specializing in .Net / SSRS at EY, you will play a crucial role in technical deliverables by producing high-quality application engineering outputs aligned with project timelines. Your responsibilities will involve translating detailed requirements and design documents into solution design specifications and maintaining effective communication within the team and leadership. Proactively raising issues when necessary, you will be accountable for building, unit testing, and adhering to application engineering methodologies and standards. Key Responsibilities: - Translate detailed Requirements and Design and Solution Architecture into Solutions Design Documents - Maintain effective communication within the team, peers, and leadership - Proactively raise issues to the team, Technical Lead, and Project Manager - Produce high-quality application development deliverables within project timelines - Build and unit test projects according to detailed design specifications - Adhere to Application Engineering methodologies, standards, and code reviews Qualification Requirements: - Experience with Microsoft technologies - Technical competency in designing, developing, and debugging solutions - Timely creation of technical artifacts such as solution design documents - Interpersonal communication and organizational skills for effective team integration - Knowledge of organizational structure to collaborate with other teams - Awareness of new and emerging technologies for potential application in IT service offerings - Proficiency in Visual Studio 2017, C#, ASP .Net, MVC, JavaScript, AJAX, JQuery, HTML, MS SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL, SSRS, SSIS In addition to technical skills, you are expected to exhibit the following behavioural competencies: - Team Work/Co-Operation - Results & Achievement orientation - Flexibility/Adaptability - Client Focus - Excellent written and verbal communication Desired Skills: - OOAD, UML, and proficiency in UML tools - Configuration management using TFS By joining EY, you will have the opportunity to contribute towards building a better working world by creating long-term value for clients, people, and society.
