Software Engineer Backend (Node.js & Python)

As a Backend Engineer at Webethics Solutions, your role involves developing, testing, and maintaining robust backend systems, services, and APIs. You will work closely with the frontend and product teams to ensure seamless integration and smooth user experiences. Your responsibilities also include optimizing backend systems for better scalability, performance, and reliability, as well as identifying and resolving issues related to backend logic, data flow, and performance. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, contribute to internal best practices, and stay updated with the latest backend frameworks, tools, and emerging AI innovations to drive technical excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, test, and maintain robust backend systems, services, and APIs. - Work closely with the frontend and product teams to ensure seamless integration and smooth user experiences. - Optimize backend systems for better scalability, performance, and reliability. - Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to backend logic, data flow, and performance. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to internal best practices and knowledge sharing. - Stay updated with the latest backend frameworks, tools, and emerging AI innovations to drive technical excellence. Qualifications Required: - Proven hands-on experience with Node.js and Python. - Strong understanding of databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. - Experience with API design, microservices, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control workflows. - Exposure to AI tools, models, or API integrations is a major plus. - Good knowledge of performance tuning, caching strategies, and database architecture. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. - Familiarity with frontend technologies such as React or Next.js is an added advantage.
