As a Software Test Engineer - Automation at Founda health, you will play a crucial role in the quality assurance process by designing, implementing, and maintaining robust testing frameworks with a focus on automation, contract testing, and performance validation. Your efforts will be instrumental in ensuring that the platform delivers secure, reliable, and scalable solutions for healthcare interoperability. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain automated test suites on unit, integration, and end-to-end levels. - Implement and manage contract testing frameworks (e.g., Pact) to validate service interactions and ensure seamless integration. - Validate compliance with healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR, HL7, and DICOM. - Perform performance and load testing to ensure effective handling of high data volumes. - Collaborate with developers to establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated testing. - Enhance the testing process by integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines for real-time validation. - Execute exploratory, security, and regression testing for critical releases. - Test role-based access control (RBAC) mechanisms for secure access to sensitive healthcare data. **Qualifications Required:** - At least 5 years of experience in software testing, with hands-on experience in automated (mandatory) and manual testing. - Experience in implementing and managing contract testing frameworks like Pact. - Proficiency in designing and maintaining test automation frameworks using tools like Cypress, Selenium, or Postman. - Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Golang, and Java. - Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter or equivalent for testing high-scale systems. - Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes. - Working knowledge of testing products related to healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, DICOM) is mandatory. - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. - A proactive approach to learning new technologies and continuously improving testing processes.
