Job Description

As a C++ White-box Software Engineer in Test at Adobe, your core purpose is to ensure the quality of deliverables. You will be responsible for debugging software products, developing and executing software test plans, and maintaining quality standards for company products. Your role involves analyzing test results, recommending corrective action, and collaborating with development engineers to resolve any issues. You will also be involved in creating, enhancing, and executing automation frameworks, as well as conducting white box testing in C++ for Printing and Scan Solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Debug software products through systematic tests - Develop, modify, and execute software test plans and automated scripts - Analyze and write test standards and procedures - Maintain documentation of test results for debugging and modification - Ensure quality integration into scientific computation, data acquisition, and processing functions - Drive test automation by developing new solutions and maintaining existing test automation code - Develop or adapt testing tools for the functional area - Plan and execute test cases - Analyze test results and debug test failures - Communicate the test strategy, execution plans, and results to various functional groups - Serve as the Quality team interface to Product Development team and Management Qualifications: - B.E. / B.Tech. In CS/ETC/EE or equivalent qualifications with 2 to 5 years of experience - Good knowledge of C++ and data structures - Strong operating system knowledge (Windows or Linux) - Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills using debuggers and memory analyzers - Knowledge of scripting languages like Python for automated test cases - Experience with test methodologies and continuous integration activities using Git and Jenkins - Ability to work well in a team, demonstrate initiative, and mentor new members Nice to have: - Experience in performance testing - Experience testing and certifying components on multiple hardware configurations Adobe offers a dynamic work environment where employees are encouraged to grow and learn continuously.
