Job Summary: Wissen Technology is hiring an experienced Software Development Engineer (Server Side) to join the GlobalLink Technical Operations Team. This role involves providing advanced technical support, driving infrastructure improvements, and ensuring high availability and performance across GlobalLink applications.  

Experience: 10 - 12 Years  

Location: Bangalore  

Mode of Work: Hybrid (Thrice a week from office mandatory)  

Key Responsibilities:  

• Provide second-level support for GlobalLink Applications.  
  
• Build next-generation infrastructure to support new business initiatives.  
  
• Diagnose and resolve issues across multiple functional areas (server, network, storage, etc.).  
  
• Provide operational support for Security and Compliance Management.  
  
• Execute Change Management tasks across Production, UAT, and Development environments.  
  
• Contribute to ongoing migration activities focusing on Maintainability, Performance, and High Availability.  
  
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.  
  
• Collaborate with Engineering and Development teams to deliver a highly available and resilient system.  
  
• Participate in on-call rotations and perform weekend maintenance tasks as required.  
  

Required Skills and Qualification:  

• Strong scripting/programming experience (Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform).  
  
• Solid understanding of web servers (Apache/Nginx).  
  
• Linux system administration experience (preferably RedHat).  
  
• Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP, UDP, Load Balancing, NAT, Firewalls, etc.).  
  
• Strong troubleshooting abilities across application, network, and kernel layers.  
  
• Working knowledge of cloud environments; AWS preferred.  
  
• Good experience with automation.  
  

Good to Have Skills:  

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and Artifactory systems ( JFrog, Nexus).  
  
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.  
  
• Experience running and troubleshooting Java applications.
