Software Development Engineer - Test

As a qualified candidate with a B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology, you will be responsible for innovating, designing, and developing test automation frameworks for various applications including web applications, mobile applications, and web services. Your role will require experience in Automation testing using tools like Selenium, Appium, or Rest Assured. Additionally, proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript will be advantageous. Familiarity with SQL and MySQL is also preferred. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your expertise in performance testing with tools like Jmeter. Your responsibilities will include planning and executing test cases, test design, test coverage, and test approach. It will be essential to develop effective test cases that align with the automation design framework in place. You will also be tasked with creating and maintaining libraries and object repositories for the Automation Framework. In cases where automated tests are not feasible, you will be required to develop and conduct manual tests. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities are crucial for this role. The ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment is essential. Experience in functional testing, including devising test scenarios, creating test plans, and executing tests, will be an added advantage.
