As a Software Development Engineer II at RateGain, you will utilize your expertise in building scalable, high-performance services using .NET Core and C#. Your responsibilities will include developing RESTful and GraphQL APIs, integrating with large-scale travel systems such as hotels, airlines, and OTAs, and working on cloud-native solutions in AWS. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, secure, and efficient backend services will be key, along with contributing to architectural decisions and continuous improvement initiatives. **Key Responsibilities:** - Backend development experience in .NET Core / C# to develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs for seamless integration with hotel, airline, and OTA systems. - Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles. - Hands-on expertise with AWS cloud services such as Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, and IAM. - Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (Cassandra, Redis). - Development and maintenance of RESTful APIs to support microservices-based architectures. - Participation in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes to ensure code quality. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Technology, preferably in Computer Science. - Minimum of 3+ years of experience in software development. - Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and SOLID principles. - In-depth knowledge of .NET Core / C# for backend development. - Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed application design. - Understanding of CI/CD practices, software testing methodologies, and code quality standards.
