Software Developer

We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in database development, performance tuning, and data modeling, particularly with SQL Server. You will play a key role in developing robust database objects, optimizing complex queries, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop database objects such as

  tables, views, stored procedures, triggers, and functions

  to support application requirements.
• Perform

  performance tuning

  of complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and indexing strategies to ensure optimal database performance.
• Engage in

  data modeling

  and database design while adhering to SQL Server best practices.
• Review code developed by peers and provide constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  
• Create

  Entity Relationship (ER) diagrams

  to visually represent the database schema for new or enhanced modules.
• Participate as a senior member in multiple development projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery timelines and quality standards.
  
• Collaborate closely with the

  DBA team

  to investigate and resolve root causes of production issues and implement fixes promptly.
• Maintain effective communication with development team members and product teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
  
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and coding standards.
  

Required Skills and Experience:

• 6 to 8 years

  of hands-on experience in SQL Server database development.
• Strong expertise in writing and optimizing

  complex SQL queries

  and stored procedures.
• Experience in

  database design

  ,

  data modeling

  , and creating

  Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs)

  .
• Proficient with

  performance tuning

  techniques, including indexing and query optimization.
• Good understanding of

  production support

  and troubleshooting database-related issues.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  
• Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
