Software Developer, Industrial Applications

Role Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for integrating 3rd party software into the edge computing platform, designing integration strategies with external companies, and automating the integration processes. You will contribute to the overall vision of the product by optimizing code, implementing new features, and improving test processes. As part of a global software development team, you will plan, organize, and ensure smooth execution of tasks, while supporting fault resolution and ensuring a comprehensive end-to-end solution. Key Responsibilities: - Integrating 3rd party SW:s into the edge platform - Designing the integration together with the external companies - Automating integration processes - Planning and organizing the work as part of global SW development teams - Ensuring an E2E solution mindset - Supporting fault resolutions - Code optimization - Test optimization - Feature implementation Qualifications Required: - Experience in SW development - Experience in at least one of the following programming languages: Golang, Python, Java - Some experience with LINUX - Experience in scripting/coding with one or more languages - Ability to adapt to new SW technologies - Understanding the significance of good SW practices for high-quality SW - Knowledge of the benefits of agile SW development and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery practices - Experience with open-source software - Basic understanding of IP-networks About the Company: Nokia is committed to innovation and technology leadership across mobile, fixed, and cloud networks.
