As a Software Development Engineer 2 at our company, you will have the opportunity to work on crafting designs and interactions, creating a seamless app experience, and continuously improving user-centered flows. Your responsibilities will include: - Design & Interaction Crafting: Collaborate with designers to implement smooth animations, micro-interactions, and transitions in interfaces. - App Experience Enhancement: Contribute to optimizing loading states, gestures, and touch interactions for a fast and intuitive app experience. - User-Centered Improvements: Refine UI flows based on feedback to ensure a delightful user experience. - Design and Architecture: Work with cross-functional teams to enhance app scalability and robustness, adhering to best practices and promoting code reusability. - Development: Write clean, maintainable code in Kotlin, implementing new features, enhancements, and bug fixes according to project requirements. - Testing: Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure app reliability. Implement automated testing frameworks for streamlined testing processes. - Performance Optimization: Identify and optimize performance bottlenecks for speed, responsiveness, and resource efficiency. - Documentation: Create technical documentation, design documents, API specifications, and release notes for knowledge sharing. - Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate product requirements into technical solutions. - Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest Android development trends, tools, and technologies to improve development processes and software quality. Qualifications we are looking for: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred). - 3+ years of professional experience in Android application development. - Proficiency in Kotlin programming language. - Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related tools. - Experience with Android architecture components (e.g., MVVM, LiveData, Room). - Eye for detail, passion for building beautiful user interfaces, and experience with animations and motion design principles. - Collaborative mindset, solid understanding of software design principles, and experience with RESTful APIs and version control systems. - Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and collaboration abilities. - Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. - Knowledge and hands-on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform is a plus.
