Software Design Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Software Architect to elaborate software specifications and architecture.
• Design, develop, and implement software modules following detailed design documents.
• Set up and maintain the software development toolchain and environment.
• Prepare and execute software module tests and verifications prior to formal V&V testing.
• Manage software work products according to the Configuration Management Plan.
• Support the integration of software and hardware components alongside hardware designers.
• Stay current with technological advancements and apply continuous learning to improve skills.
• Promote standardization by reusing existing solutions or developing reusable components.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with Software Architects, Hardware Designers, RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety), and V&V teams throughout the software design lifecycle.
• Apply organizational processes and standards effectively in your work.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on Return on Experience (RoE) and process enhancements.

Skills Required:

• Strong proficiency in Embedded C, Ada, C, and Linux
• Nice-to-Have:
• Experience with C++
