Soft ware Tester (automation&manual)

Description

We are seeking a skilled Software Tester with both automation and manual testing experience to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products through comprehensive testing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test cases for both manual and automated testing.
• Identify, record, and track bugs in a bug tracking system.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Perform regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain intact after changes are made.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools.
• Analyze test results and provide feedback to the development team to improve software quality.
• Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews to provide input on functional requirements and testability.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test reports.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, QTP, or similar.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
• Experience in creating and executing test cases and test scripts.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C# for automation scripting.
• Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI is a plus.
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
