Job Description

Role Overview: You will be responsible for threat detection and response by monitoring and analyzing security events on SIEM/EDR/DLP platforms to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. Additionally, you will conduct in-depth investigations of security incidents, provide detailed analysis, and root cause analysis. You will also handle escalations, manage L1 resources, and work closely with other IT and security teams to enhance the organization's security posture. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and analyze security events on SIEM/EDR/DLP platforms - Conduct in-depth investigations of security incidents and provide detailed analysis - Manage L1 resources and handle escalations - Analyze security log data to identify trends and anomalies - Perform threat and vulnerability assessments and provide recommendations for mitigation - Stay updated on security advisory services, newsletters, and bulletins - Collaborate with other IT and security teams - Drive incident investigations and bridge calls - Maintain detailed records of security incidents and actions taken - Utilize tools such as Sentinel, Splunk, Arcsight, Crowdstrike, Defender, Sentinel One, Forcepoint, Symantec, Proofpoint for security tasks Qualifications Required: - Comptia Security Plus, CEH, AZ-500, CISSP, CISM certifications are desirable - Experience with SIEM, EDR, DLP, and UEBA tools - Strong understanding of security best practices and governance processes Please note that this is an on-site working position.
