Role Description

This is a contract-to-hire remote role for a Snowflake Data Engineer. The Snowflake Data Engineer will design, implement, and optimize data workflows and pipelines to handle large-scale data processing. They will focus on developing efficient data models, managing data warehousing solutions, and improving Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes. The engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data analytics capabilities meet business needs and support decision-making processes. Regular maintenance of Snowflake environments and continuous optimization of performance will be key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Data Engineering, including building and managing complex data systems and pipelines
• Experience in Data Modeling to design and optimize database structures for analytics and operations
• Strong expertise in Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and working with big datasets
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar platforms
• Familiarity with Data Analytics tools and techniques to support data-driven decision-making
• Ability to work in a remote environment with effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus
• Knowledge of programming languages, such as SQL, Python, or Java, is highly desirable
