Role Overview

Shopify Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Build, customize, and maintain Cumin Co.’s Shopify store to deliver a seamless shopping experience.
• Implement responsive, brand-consistent designs that enhance customer engagement.
• Customize Shopify themes and integrate relevant third-party apps.
• Optimize website performance, page speed, and SEO to drive conversions.
• Work closely with the design, marketing, and growth teams to translate brand needs into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website and app-related issues promptly.
• Manage and integrate with payment gateways, logistics platforms, CRM, and analytics tools.
• Stay up to date with Shopify releases, new features, and e-commerce best practices.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of proven experience in

  Shopify development

  , ideally with D2C or e-commerce brands.
• Proficiency in

  HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify’s templating language)

  .
• Experience with

  Shopify APIs, app integrations, and custom app development

  .
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment with attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with Shopify Plus.
• Knowledge of UI/UX best practices and A/B testing for conversion optimization.
• Familiarity with analytics, automation, and performance tracking tools.
