Job Description

As the Manager of Services Sales at our company, you will be responsible for overseeing the Therma & Generator Remedial teams in the UK. Your role will involve providing support, direction, and technical assistance to ensure the successful implementation of our sales strategy. Your guidance will be crucial in helping the team achieve the overall remedial service sales target by maximizing all sales opportunities. Your core responsibilities will include thinking strategically and innovatively to guide your team towards meeting set targets while upholding Vertiv values. You will need to coach and train your team to be well-versed in Thermal and Generator remedial service offerings, cross-selling, and acting as the primary contact for all Service Sales offerings across all Lines of Business (LOBs). Collaborating closely with other department leads, you will oversee project delivery according to company standards and budget constraints to meet GP and OP targets. You will create a strategic plan and guidelines for your team, ensuring that existing OSC opportunities are converted effectively and regional targets are not only met but exceeded. Working directly with customers and Facility Managers, you will utilize Vertiv products and solutions to provide tailored vision and strategies to meet their current and future needs. Your role also involves identifying additional business opportunities and devising strategies for your team to capitalize on within their respective regions. Furthermore, you will be responsible for talent development through regular coaching sessions and open communication with your team. Visits to Vertiv offices will be essential for effective communication, with the remaining time dedicated to talent development. Ensuring the use of standardized quote and project documentation will be crucial for internal efficiency. Minimum qualifications for this role include a minimum of 2 years of experience, while preferred qualifications include knowledge of the Thermal/Generator market, business critical applications, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, decisiveness under pressure, proven managerial abilities, computer literacy, and self-discipline. This position does not require physical or environmental requirements and may involve up to 50% travel.
