    Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, Configuration (CMDB), and Asset Management

    Business Rules, Script Includes, Scheduled Jobs, Fix Scripts, and Notifications

    using JavaScript.
  • Implement and optimize

    Workflows

    and

    Flow Designer flows

    to automate ITSM processes.
  • Configure and maintain

    Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

    ,

    Approvals

    , and

    Escalations

    for ITSM operations.
  • Develop and support

    Integration Hub

    and

    REST/SOAP-based integrations

    with third-party systems and internal tools.
  • Manage and enhance

    Service Catalogs

    ,

    Request Items

    , and

    Catalog Tasks

    within the ITSM scope.
  • Maintain and optimize the

    CMDB structure

    , ensuring accurate

    relationships, discovery mappings

    , and

    data integrity

    .
  • Configure and manage

    Incident and Problem Management workflows

    , including impact, urgency, and priority matrix setups.
  • Implement

    Change Management processes

    , including CAB definitions, risk assessment, blackout windows, and approval policies.
  • Develop automation for

    Asset and Configuration Management

    including lifecycle, ownership, and reconciliation logic.
  • Build and maintain

    Knowledge Management

    workflows, approval chains, and article versioning rules.
  • Create and manage

    Reports and Dashboards

    for ITSM metrics such as SLA performance, ticket volume, and resolution trends.
  • Ensure

    platform stability, performance optimization

    , and compliance with ServiceNow best practices.
  • Collaborate with process owners, platform admins, and other developers to translate business requirements into scalable ITSM solutions.
  • Maintain documentation, perform unit testing, and participate in code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.

Required Skills:

  • Strong hands-on experience in

    ServiceNow ITSM backend development

    and administration.
  • Expertise in

    JavaScript

    (server-side) for developing business logic and automation.
  • Deep understanding of

    ITIL v3/v4 processes

    and how they align within ServiceNow modules.
  • Proficiency in

    Workflows, Flow Designer

    Integration Hub

    configurations.
  • Experience with

    REST/SOAP APIs

  • Knowledge of
