team, responsible for turning product requirements into designs, developing implementation plans, and creating integrations and automated initiatives for both On-Cloud
and On-Premise
platforms. As a
Software Engineer

Desirable Competencies
-
3-5 years
of experience in ServiceNow development
. - Proficiency in
ServiceNow scripting, workflows, and integrations
. - Experience with
software development methodologies
such as Agile or Waterfall
. - Familiarity with
IT Service Management (ITSM)
and IT Operations Management (ITOM)
processes. -
2+ years
of experience coding ServiceNow features
or similar platforms. - Experience in
developing, configuring, and customizing
the ServiceNow platform to meet business needs. - Ability to collaborate with
cross-functional teams
to identify and prioritize business requirements. - Expertise in writing
clean, efficient, and maintainable code
. - Conducting
code reviews
and quality control checks
to ensure efficiency and productivity. - Debugging and
fixing technical issues
. - Producing and
executing test cases
to ensure software quality. - Documenting
code
and application functionality
. - Staying updated on
emerging trends and technologies
in ServiceNow development. -
ITIL Foundation
level knowledge and familiarity with frameworks such as COBIT, IT4IT
is a plus. - Experience with
Web Services, APIs, and database-level integrations/ETL
. - Proficiency in
Web Technologies
(XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services) and experience working in a SaaS environment
. - Ability to drive
design and strategy
around automation tools. - Understanding of
technical components
such as LDAP, VPN, SSL, and other related technologies. - Must be
fluent in English
, both written and spoken. - A
degree or equivalent qualification
, preferably in Information Technology
, with proven experience in technical development roles.
