Service Desk Engineer

You should have a minimum of 1.5 years of experience. As part of the team, your primary responsibilities will include responding to and answering calls, emails, and web tickets from end users in a professional and courteous manner. You will be required to log tickets for every user interaction, whether it is an incident, service request, or information query. Additionally, you will provide first-level support on desktops, peripherals, and office automation products. In this role, you will be responsible for routing or assigning tickets to the appropriate support group if necessary. Remote engineers must ensure there are no duplications of tickets and provide detailed visit notes and activity completion notes with the current status of the call logged. It is essential to update notifications regularly and escalate high-severity, priority issues as needed. You will also be expected to update pending tickets with timely and accurate information, follow up with end users if necessary to close pending tickets, and track scheduled activities such as UPS dry runs or stock takes. Flexibility is required as you should be willing to work on weekends and holidays. This is a full-time, permanent position with rotational shifts. Candidates must be willing to commute or relocate to Thane, Maharashtra. The education requirement for this role is a Bachelor's degree, and a minimum of 1 year of total experience is mandatory.
