Service Desk Associate : Fresher

Overview: Outpace Consulting Services is looking for a Service Desk Associate : Fresher for a leading ITES company. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals eager to start a career in IT support. You'll be the first point of contact for user queries, providing essential troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues. This position requires strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Query Response: Respond promptly and professionally to user queries via phone, email, or ticketing system. Troubleshooting: Provide basic troubleshooting support for hardware, software, network, and application issues. Incident Management: Log and track all incidents and service requests accurately using a ticket management system. Escalation: Escalate unresolved issues to the next level of support in accordance with established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). IT Setup & Support: Assist in setting up and configuring desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment. Documentation & Learning: Follow standard operating procedures and maintain documentation, while continuously learning new technologies and processes. Required Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Experience: No prior professional experience is required; internships or academic projects in IT are a plus. Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and fundamental networking concepts. Soft Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility: Ability to work in shifts or flexible schedules if needed. Mindset: Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
