Service Advisor

A service advisor acts as a liaison in an auto dealership, communicating between customers and service technicians to manage vehicle maintenance and repair processes. Key responsibilities include greeting customers, diagnosing vehicle issues, providing cost estimates and timelines, submitting work orders to technicians, and ensuring customer satisfaction through clear communication and follow-up. Essential skills for a service advisor are strong communication, active listening, problem-solving, organization, and a solid understanding of automotive systems and terminology

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Interaction: Greet customers, listen to their concerns, and assess vehicle needs.
• Service Consultation: Explain necessary repairs, service recommendations, and associated costs.
• Technician Coordination: Submit work orders to technicians, provide accurate descriptions of customer concerns, and coordinate the service process.
• Appointment Scheduling: Schedule service appointments and manage the flow of vehicles through the shop.
• Cost Estimation & Billing: Prepare detailed service order estimates and collect payment after repairs are completed.
• Customer Follow-Up: Maintain contact with customers to provide updates on their vehicle's status and ensure satisfaction.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all service activities and customer interactions.
• Problem Solving: Diagnose customer problems and coordinate with technicians to find solutions.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
