Server and Network Support

As a skilled Server & Network Administrator with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in managing and maintaining server infrastructure and network systems, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability of the IT infrastructure. Your key responsibilities will include installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows/Linux servers to ensure system availability and performance. You will also be setting up and managing routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure secure and stable network connectivity. Additionally, you will diagnose and resolve server, network, and hardware/software issues and configure and monitor firewalls, access controls, and other security tools to protect systems and data. Monitoring server/network performance, responding to incidents, managing backups, maintaining disaster recovery plans, documenting system configurations, providing user support, and collaborating with the IT team are also crucial aspects of this role. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of Windows and Linux server environments, a good understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, TCP/IP), hands-on experience with firewalls, switches, routers, excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, as well as effective communication and teamwork abilities. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in server and network administration, is required for this position. Industry certifications such as CCNA, MCSA, or CompTIA Network+ and experience working with vendors for hardware/software support are preferred qualifications.
